A few days ago, we noted that Apple Music was coming to Spotify, which had been rumored for a while, as the company’s streaming music service continues to grow.
The subscription service is also looking to bring in Beats One in the new Apple Music bundle.
Apple’s music service is already one of the biggest and most well-known subscription services, but Spotify has always been in a position where its content was often available for free on its platform.
Apple Music offers an extensive catalog of original music, along with curated playlists and personalized radio stations, but the service also offers subscription music and subscription-based plans.
Spotify’s original music library includes songs by Jay-Z, Rihanna, Drake, and more.
Spotify also offers a dedicated dedicated subscription tier, which has its own ads and is not tied to the overall Spotify subscription fee.
With Spotify’s $9.99 per month subscription, Apple Music also offers Beats One for $5.99.
Beats One has a much wider catalog of songs, more curated playlist, and offers a higher quality of music than Spotify’s service.
Apple is also offering an exclusive limited edition iPod nano with Beats One’s signature speaker.
Apple Music is also introducing the Beats Music app, which brings the same music streaming functionality as Spotify, but it also includes an exclusive Apple Music subscription that includes access to a full library of songs.
The Apple Music service is available on both iOS and Mac computers.
The app includes a curated playlist and access to curated playbooks, which is a huge departure from Spotify’s curated playbook section.
Spotify has also added the ability to control the playback of individual songs in the app, but with a single tap.
In its current incarnation, Apple is still making a big push to build up its music library, but at some point, Spotify will have to figure out a way to scale up its content library.
The company has already announced plans to build out its subscription services to a broader audience.
