What is CBD and how does it work?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound or cannabinoid primarily
derived from the hemp plant containing 0.3% or less THC. Cannabis is the only
plant known to contain CBD
CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant, then diluting it with a
carrier oil such as Medium chain triglycerides or MCT Oil.
CBD known as the “cousin” of THC does not produce any of the psychoactive
effects THC causes because it does not influence the same receptors as THC
does. CBD along with other cannabinoids are considered to be non-toxic, meaning
its nearly impossible to overdose on CBD! One study has indicated that doses of
up to 1500 mg per day can be well tolerated by the human body.
CBD has been known to help and reduce stress, anxiety, depression, inflammation
and pain. CBD has also been known to help with skin disorders and ailments such
as acne and eczema.
The human body has an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that receives and
transmits signals via receptors from cannabinoids. Your endocannabinoid system
which influences memory, mood, immunity, appetite, cardiovascular health and
more receives signals from cannabinoids such as CBD in the body. All
cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to certain
CBD vs THC?
CBD and THC have similarities in that they both are highly reactive with the
Endocannabinoid system and are the two primary cannabinoids that occur
naturally in the Cannabis sativa plant but the effects that occur when they interact
with our Endocannabinoid system are different. The main difference between CBD
and THC is that CBD is non-psychoactive which means that it will not get the you
high while THC, the main Psychoactive cannabinoid of the cannabis plant, is
known for creating the “high” sensation.
CBD has the same chemical makeup as THC, with the atoms in a different
arrangement. This slight arrangement change causes THC to create a
psychoactive effect, while CBD does not.
Full Spectrum vs Broad Spectrum?
While shopping for CBD you will find three main types of CBD oil, Full Spectrum,
Broad Spectrum and Isolate. Here at HemPossibleCBD we offer Full Spectrum and
Broad Spectrum (THC Free) to our customers.
Full Spectrum CBD Oil contains everything the plant contains including a wide
range of synergistic cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, CBDA, terpenes
and including trace amounts of THC (.3% or less). All these cannabinoids together
gives the Entourage effect (hyperlink). Full Spectrum oil even has essential
vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, protein, chlorophyll, flavonoids, and fiber. So when
you hear Full Spectrum, think, the full plant.
Isolate CBD is nearly just the opposite of Full Spectrum in that everything the plant
contains is removed with the exceptions of CBD. You simply have pure CBD. CBD
Isolate is 99.9% pure CBD. Studies have shown that full plant extracts can be more
effective at treating conditions due to isolate not having the full entourage effect.
Broad Spectrum is more popular known as THC FREE because it is just that. Broad
spectrum CBD oil is a little of both Full spectrum and Isolate. In broad spectrum
CBD oil, the cannabinoids are broken down into their individual compound
solutions and then recombined with precision without THC. So broad spectrum
has everything that Full Spectrum offers with the exception of THC.
What is The Entourage Effect?
The entourage effect is when all the components within the plant work together
with the Endocannabinoid system to produce stronger effect that if the
components worked alone better known as a synergistic effect.
Will I fail a drug test by taking HemPossibleCBD?

How much CBD oil should I take?
There are a number of factors to consider when using the proper dosage. Factors
such as weight, the concentration of CBD, and the severity of what you are
treating. Generally speaking a good starting dosage is 10mg-20mg a day. Based
on how your body responds and the results you are looking for, you should move
up in dosage accordingly. Always remember, dosage is not always measured by
the dropper. 1 dropper from a 500mg tincture is different than 1 dropper from a
250mg tincture so be sure to always know the concentration of CBD you are
