Oil body lotions are the perfect moisturiser for dry, irritated skin.
The ingredients, including paraffin, are safe and gentle on the skin, and are non-comedogenic.
The body oils are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can improve circulation and help improve skin hydration.
When they are used with essential oils, they can make the skin feel light, fresh and soft.
Here’s how to use them.
Get a bottle of oil body cream, like this one, and add essential oils.
Take one drop and apply to the face and neck, neck, and hands.
Apply it for about 15 seconds.
If you’re sensitive, you may need to repeat the process twice or three times.
You can use it for up to 24 hours, or up to three weeks.
You may find that the skin feels softer and smoother after you apply the oil body, but you will need to reapply every so often.
If using essential oils or fragrance oils, mix a small amount of each into the cream.
For example, take one drop of one of these essential oils and one drop each of the three fragrance oils.
Apply the oil to the skin in small amounts and massage it gently into the skin.
Apply to the affected area for at least 30 seconds to a few minutes, and then gently massage it with your fingers.
For best results, apply it to the areas with dry skin first.
After that, use your fingers to gently massage the oil into the areas that have dried out.
For the most gentle effect, you should apply the mixture to the area after 30 seconds.
After 30 seconds, the skin should feel dry and the oil should feel slightly thicker than the cream, and if the skin is slightly irritated, you can use a little bit of the oil on the area and gently massage in. 4.
If the skin doesn’t feel dry after applying the oil, try to reappel with your fingertips or a wet washcloth.
After 5 to 10 minutes, apply a little more oil and massage with your hands to help keep the skin hydrated.
For a thicker, smoother product, try adding more essential oils to the mix.
For dry or irritated skin, apply oil body body loties to the forehead, neck and chest area.
Apply a little oil to a cotton ball, and gently rub on the areas to be moisturised.
For irritated skin or those with eczema or psoriasis, apply the lotion directly to the scalp, neck or underarms.
Use a cotton swab to massage the area.
If there is an inflammation, you will want to apply more oil to get a more concentrated effect.
