AUSTRALIAN women’s beauty brand is on a roll, having sold over $2 million worth of products in just three months.
TalkSport reported on the success of the brand’s Australian beauty products, which include skincare and facial products, with its website advertising for women to purchase products at its website and on its Facebook page.
The brand also has a YouTube channel, where it sells products including face and body oils, lip balm, and lip glosses.
The company said its products were “designed to keep skin looking and feeling fresh and radiant”.
“They have a unique blend of ingredients that keep skin moisturised, smooth and looking flawless,” the company said in a statement.
“We also offer a range of skincares, skin-care products and hair products, including hair care, skincaria, and grooming products.”
The company was founded in 2012 by Laura Kiely, who is a professor at the University of New South Wales and a professor of social psychology at Sydney University.
Kiely said she was inspired to start the brand after she noticed her own skin looked oily.
“I thought, ‘Wow, I don’t want to go without these products.
I just need to make sure that my skin is healthy and that my face is healthy’,” she said.
“So I started a company, and I wanted to create a product line for people to enjoy and make their own products.”
Kieley said the brand has also been a hit with women from all walks of life.
“There are women who are young, middle-aged, older women who have never been to a beauty salon before, or who have always been a little bit hesitant to go to a salon,” she said, adding they were interested in products that “were made with quality ingredients, that are healthy, that do not clog your pores”.
The brand has been selling products in Australia since July, when it launched its first Australian product, the SkinCare.
Kielly said the company was not looking to expand internationally, but was looking to create an international network.
“It’s a very interesting platform for us,” she explained.
“[We] are really looking to help people who want to start up a brand.
We really want to build a community of people who are willing to learn more about different brands.””
We’re just a small group of friends who want a good time and a good product and really love products.”
Kienly said the women who were inspired by her products were very happy with the products they were using.
“If people love their products, they buy them,” she told the ABC.
“That’s the best feeling in the world.”
